How much do you charge/what is the average cost for catering?

How far in advance should I reserve my date/event?

We tend to fill up quickly during our busy season so we recommend reserving your date early or as soon as possible. Most events are finalized 10 days prior to the event date to ensure product delivery and proper staffing. Contact us today to reserve your date and learn more about our catering services!

When do I need to have the order finalized/what’s the latest to give information?

All final details are due 10 days prior to your event to ensure product delivery and proper staffing for the day of your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that orders be cancelled as soon as possible. Order details are finalized 10 days prior to your event date to ensure product delivery and proper staffing, so we’d ask for cancellation prior to the 10 day mark - otherwise the product will have already been ordered and we would need to charge for that product.

Do you have a headcount minimum in order to provide catering for an event?

We usually require a minimum headcount of 25 in order to deliver. If under 25, we ask that you consider a pick up order, or we may require a delivery fee, depending on our schedule.

Do you offer tastings?

We do offer tastings for wedding couples. If you would like to learn more about our menus, give us a call to speak with one of our Pinnacle Catering representatives. We would love to create the perfect menu to fit your needs and budget!

Can I request a custom menu?

Although we have several prepared menus to choose from, our professional team of culinary experts can assist with customized menu designs that will showcase your ideas and personal tastes

Can you accommodate guests with dietary restrictions?

As a caterer, we feel it is our responsibility to provide solutions for any type of limitations or preferences. We offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free meal options, as well as meals to accommodate ethnic and religious practices. If you have more specific concerns, call us to speak with a dedicated representative. We will work out the best solution for your specific case.

What happens to leftovers?

Due to the uncontrollable conditions of off-site catering, leftover food will be taken back to our facility, evaluated, and distributed to Community Food Response at the managers' discretion.

Do you provide waitstaff or bartenders? And if so, is there a fee?

Depending on your headcount and style of service, a server fee may not be required. If it is determined that a server is not needed for the event, but the client has requested one, we have a server fee of $45/hour per server.
We will provide the bartenders for a bar service at no additional fee.
We also cannot provide bar services alone - in order to comply with our food and liquor license, we must also provide food.

Do you deliver or offer pick up orders?

Depending on distance, you may have food delivered or pick it up. If picked up, our 20% service charge is waived.

How far do you travel?

We deliver in Rochester and the surrounding areas. Any inquiries outside of a 60 mile radius are reviewed on a case by case basis. Deliveries outside of Rochester will also incur a delivery fee.

Do you do display cakes?

Yes, we offer simple, single-layer display cakes (6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch). We ask that you provide an inspirational picture to share with our chef. Our chef will then confirm if we are able to do the design or if any adjustments are needed.

Do you set up and clean up?

We pride ourselves in service. In every catering event we will arrive early to set up. We will also clean up around the buffet tables and kitchen, as well as remove dinner plates from guest tables for staffed events.

Do you offer equipment rentals?

Yes, depending on what we have going for events during your requested date(s), we offer equipment rentals for our china and flatware, glassware, and chafing dishes with sternos.

Do you provide linens?

Table linens (black, white, or ivory) are provided at no charge for the beverage and food tables. Linens for all other tables such as guest tables, etc. are available for a fee. Napkin linens are available for a fee per cloth.

Do you provide any kind of décor?

While we offer table linens and napkins linens, we do not offer any decor.

Do you offer any chairs, tables, or tents to rent?

We do not. We unfortunately do not have any tables to provide for set up. We kindly ask that you provide the tables for the food and/or beverage and any guest seating. The number of tables needed for the food and beverage depends on your menu selection and headcount.

Do you do any philanthropy projects or give donations?

As a catering company, philanthropy and giving back to the community are important values we uphold. We actively participate in various charitable initiatives, including food donations, community events, employee volunteering, and monetary donations. Can I provide my own food/beverage in addition to what you provide?

You may provide your own beverage, however, due to food safety regulations, we would need to be the sole food provider, with the exception of wedding desserts.

Do you cater on holidays, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas?

We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas day, however, we could offer to do a pick up order for the days prior. The food is provided cold with reheating instructions for you to reheat the day of. If you are interested in Thanksgiving to-go, please visit com

When is payment due?

Wedding payments are due the Monday before your wedding day.
All other event payments are due within 30 days after your event.
